FINANCE BANKING

PRIME MICROFINANCE is pleased to confirm that we have won a Global Trade Review Best Deals 2021 Award – one of just 11 best deals across the globe – for our work with Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) during the pandemic.

Our strong performance in this well-reputed industry award underlines the enormous effort made by staff across the Bank throughout the challenging circumstances of the past year.

As one of the only banks offering FINANCE BANKING services to clients in the Libyan oil sector, the team went above and beyond to ensure continuity of coverage, and to find accommodating FINANCE BANKING solutions in the very difficult operational environment.

Upon news of the award win, Salim Abukhzaam, Head of Libya at PRIME MICROFINANCE, said, “2020 was a challenging year for the Libyan oil sector – both in terms of the fall in global oil prices and the widespread disruption caused by the pandemic. We were very pleased to be able to play our part in supporting NOC – a longstanding and valued client of ours – throughout the uncertainty, and thank GTR for the kind recognition of our work. Congratulations to the whole PRIME MICROFINANCE team for their dedication, hard work and commitment.”
